After the ALL-American bruiser featured in our first Exotic Driver review, we went after something a bit more refined. The Vantage V8 is Aston Martin’s “entry-level” car with a not-so-accessible price. So what do you get for over $140k?

The minute we opened the angled swan doors, there was no doubt we were in for a treat. The Aston makes a fantastic first impression and keeps surprising the driver with more things to enjoy. The V8 Vantage may not be the best in any individual category, but it combines into one impressive package. Maybe entry-level is the best Aston after all?

Granted… Aston is now making “the Cygnet”, a city-car which exists to help them with their MPG ratings, but it’s really just a reworked Toyota IQ. This is a real Aston Martin:
