Even though Ferrari is one of the best known brands in the world, most people have never even sat in one of their cars.  So when a fan of the show offered us their Ferrari California, we jumped at the chance.

The California is the most popular car in Ferrari’s current lineup and was the first Ferrari to embrace many modern technologies. In many ways, this car is the beginning of a new breed of Ferrari – one with seven speed dual clutch gearboxes, warranties, and reliability.

Yet Ferrari maintains strong ties to its history, its racing, and the Italian flamboyance that made it an internationally recognized brand. So we dropped the top and found a great mountain road to experience it all for ourselves.
